So..Tell Me About Yourself

Random Facts:
I’m half Lebanese and half Southern Belle.  “Daddy” is from Beirut, Lebanon and “Momma” aka “Mooooms” (I don’t why I call her that) is from Tennessee. As a result, I have a love of all things southern like being outdoors (lake, hiking, four wheeling, horseback riding etc..), monogrammed EVERYTHING, and of course sweet tea. In addition, I have a love for my own Lebanese culture and I crave knowledge about different cultures around the world. This is probably where my passion for traveling comes from.  I play a little piano, speak a little Spanish and I enjoy running, volunteering and making my own jewelry when I have the time. Favorite colors: Purple and Blue

A Little More Serious:
“So tell me about yourself”…. It seems like I get this question a lot and you would think I would be an expert on the topic of “me” but I find it’s always the hardest  one to talk about. Here is my attempt:

I change about as often as the sun rises. My dad says he never knows what kind of “adventure” I’m going to think up next. My mom’s explanation of me is “You know Sarah, she beats to her own drum.”

I don’t believe I have to live my life by any rules or cookie cutter molds. I guess I really took it serious as a child when adults told me I could be anything I want to be. I am always inspired by the stories of people’s lives and all the detours they took along the way. Right now, I am trying to get ahead of the printing press. I want to be the sole author of my story. I don’t want to wait until the final chapter of my life, look back through the pages and think, “How did I get here? or Oh, I forgot to add this in” because you can’t insert pages on life already lived.

There is always room for improvement and I try to practice that motto in my life daily. I hope I never grow complacent…EVER. I’m always working on having more patience, trying to better handle my reactions to situations, but also just having the courage to be honest about what I want.

I have a bucket list that is several pages long, which I am thinking about posting on here…or at least of the things.

I am still on the search for the great loves of my life whether they be people places or things.
